The hyperhidrosis is an embarrassing situation which can occur because of different reasons. The only time when you should sweat is when the temperatures are very high or when you have undertaken vigorous activities and exercises which can make you sweat. Sweating can also occur due to some other triggers. The sweating caused by other triggers can make one have sweaty feet, sweaty hands, armpits and other areas which can be very uncomfortable.

When sleeping the sympathetic nervous system could react which causes one to sweat. There are two types of hyperhidrosis, which include primary hyperhidrosis which is genetic in nature as it normally occurs in families. Then we have the hypohidrosis which is a medical condition caused by anxiety disorder, glucose control disorders, glucose, menopause, heart and the lung disease, when you have stroke or infection.
One of the treatments is to use the aluminum chloride, which helps in blocking the sweat glands. It is very effective, and with time you might not need to use it.
The excessive sweating can be controlled trough the prescription grade aluminum chloride based products. The oral medications work only in mild cases to moderate severity only.
The other method used is the iontophoresis which is a process where electrical charge is usually used to treat the sweaty hands and also the feet. This method is reliable and can be used for treating the severe excessive sweating.
The underarm sweating is treated through the Botulinum toxin injections. This is an approved process of treating the excessive sweating. The other method that can be used is surgery, although it the riskiest and expensive to use. Surgery should be used as the last option because of the risks involved.
